Peppermint Schnapps Cures

Well, according to Women’s Health, peppermint schnapps and adventure are the two things you need to make your sex life a fun romp in bed again - and in other places around town!

WH came out with a list this week of 11 Fun (and Sexy) Things To Do With A Man. You notice how the title doesn’t read “your man.” I guess pick a man and have fun to the 11 below!

Mad Dayz

There were three posts I could do today for you - a cute meme I had completely done, then it vanished on me; tell you my pain as I try to buy a new laptop with no money; or, figure out how to pimp myself for a new iPhone 3G. Well, the meme is gone, I’m always a whiny butt, so how about the pimping? Hey, 2 for 1 - laptop and iPhone!

So, how does one pimp to get what they want? Yea, I know that. Trust me that is what my Twitter friends suggested. I might be desperate, but not THAT desperate. I can try what my daughter does to get her way. Those cute little puppy dog eyes. Doesn’t work on mom, but she has her dad wrapped around her little finger!

Hmm… maybe get down on my hands and knees and beg? Beg until the sun comes up, goes down, comes up… you get the picture. My goal for the begging forever - they will get tired of listening to me and just give my the laptop and iPhone to shut up! I am good at talking and I even will throw my hands in for special effects. Hey, who can resist?

Then there was this post! Pimp myself out by basically saying, “Hey, I’m not above begging on an open forum to get what I want.” So, that sounds like it’s the one! I’m begging on my lil ‘ole me blog because I’m a heel and I want an iPhone 3G and a laptop. Well I want the phone, but I need the laptop.

Please? Pretty please? With whipped cream on top? And a cherry!? I mean heck, stick a pull string in my back and I’ll pimp myself out for Apple.

Looking for guest posts

Not here, but at another one of my blogs, Simple Home Basics. I have actually asked a few blog friends that I follow on Twitter and Mom Bloggers Club and to my amazement they have said YES! Which makes me giddy with excitement to read others tips and ideas! We also have one recurring blogger, Natalie @ Hot Off the Garlic Press, that will be joining me in keeping readers up to date..

Over the next few weeks I hope to have a lot of change @ SHB. We will have our guest posts, hopefully bring on a few new recurring bloggers, and I have a few giveaways in mind! So keep checking back.

AllMediocre - Are You?

Fish guts. Do you see those fish guts in my side bar? Those fish guts represent my mediocracy. You know what? I am proud of it! Now, I could have used a prettier badge, that sparkled, and dazzled, but why? Fish guts - perfect!

Now, if you haven’t seen Twitter all a flutter with tweets lately about AllMediocre, don’t worry you haven’t missed the party train - she is still pulling into the local stations and is ready to pick you up for the party too! So, come on!

No clue what AllMediocre is about? Don’t freak out, don’t worry, the blog will best explain what the talk is all about, but long story short, we are the two stars of a five star blogoshpere. Well, maybe that is not the best explanation - so, run, don’t walk to AllMediocre and check it out!

Lil’ Ole’ Me got in trouble

On June 25th I will get to have my first taste of a court room. Yes, I did something bad - something I think we all do - speed, but I got a ticket. And boy when I speed I make sure I go all out cause I was way over the limit and actually MUST APPEAR before the judge.

So, I have had some suggestions:

• Guilty - Strike a plea agreement with the Prosecutor and move on.
• Guilty - Try to get it reduced to a non-traffic violation.
• Plead Not Guilty and go to trial.

Basically, I will have heaping huge piles of fees regardless of what I do. I mean the ticket alone will mostly cost around $300, WOW!

So, everyone, what has this taught us? Don’t speed when you can’t see both sides of the road. Just kidding - just plain don’t speed. It can be difficult, but no other choice unless I want to chance getting caught again.

Fun fact: 1 in 4 people will get a speeding ticket this year. Nice!
