This is not a paid ad, I just thought I would share with you a product that I got to try out for free.
Silly me signed up on SheSpeaks.com which is a web site that offers members the opportunity to sign up and try out various products. After receiving the product and using it, you fill out several surveys on your thoughts - likes and dislikes of the product. My first product to try out was a Sonic Care Toothbrush. I was actually really surprised by it.
The Sonic Care was a bit funny feeling at first to use. It does have a lot of speed and left my mouth a bit tingly after each use, but I slowly became use to it. It is rechargeable, can be set to start slow and speed up over time, and has an automatic 2-minute turn off. Like a toothbrush for dummies - I mean that in a nice way.
The only thing I hate about the Sonic Care is the price. Glad mine was free because I wouldn’t have spent the money on it. The replacements are enough, but thankfully you only have to change them out just like any other toothbrush.
I do recommend that you go to SheSpeaks.com and sign up though. You could get to try out some great products and then keep what you try out.

PJ Mommy has a new book club getting ready to start December 1st. As you all know I write for PJ Mommy and can offer readers of The Brunette Blog a spot among us to read your heart out too! Anyone can join guys, so don’t be afraid to expand your reading genre!
FAQs
1. Is there a cost to join?- No. There is no cost to join this book club, we just ask that once you join you actually participate. If you can only commit to a certain number of books you can read per month please let us know so we make sure we do not assume you are no longer an active member.
2. How do I get the book that we’re currently reading? The book club will make an amazon store just for the books we are currently reading, and have read in the past. You are not obligated to purchase through this. You can buy the books at any retailer or you may obtain the book from your local lending library.
3. What are the perks of joining your bookclub?Depending on the number of books we read that month we will be giving away one or more (dependent upon the the alloted amount that the publisher gives us) that way each member can obtain a free book they can either keep for the reading of the book or they can do a give away on their website to promote the book club/the book itself along with their website! You can also discuss the book at your own leisure through the book club forum we are setting up in the Pajama Mommy Forums, along with being able to post your final overall opinion on the blog we are creating for the books we’re reviewing.
4. What if I don’t want to read that particular book? We cannot force you to read the book however part of being in the book club is to expand your horizons with new books, along with reading books you wouldn’t normally read. This not only quenches a literary thirst, but opens you to new genres and ideas!
5. What types of books will you be reading in the club? Granted although most book clubs members are women we invite men to join to, so the books wont only be “women only” or “new women fiction” we will have an all-around taste of books from, fiction to non fiction, from horror to comedy. We want to be able to offer future members a place where anyone can join and not expect to read the same style books over and over again.
So, now that you have read the fine print so to speak, jump over to PJ Mommy and sign up!

The first ever Gal to Gal Foundation Virtual Walk 2007 is underway and the foundation is asking for your help to support those with Stage IV breast cancer.
The virtual walk began October 1st in Boston, MA and will end in San Francisco, CA. Along each stop on the virtual walk, you can meet new women from around the country that have contributed and read their inspiring stories.
Currently the walk is on Day 4 - Baltimore, MD - near my hometown and so far the walk has approximately 3,205 walkers on their way to California - I happen to be one of them, #3153 :)! By the end of October, The Gal to Gal Foundation hopes to reach their goal of 1,000,000 registered walkers.
You can help too! Registering for the walk is simple and requires a small donation of $3.00. All donations benefit those with Stage IV breast cancer. As a way of saying “Thanks” for donating and joining the walk, Design-Her Gal is offering a 20% discount on ANY product at their web site. Use PROMO CODE: GOWALK.

Normally I don’t post about sales or purchasing this or that. I am writing about this because breast cancer has hit close to home for me many times and I believe anytime I can help raise funds to support efforts in finding a cure, I will do it.
For the past six years, LEAN CUISINE®and Susan G. Komen for the Cure have a great partnership in both raising awareness and funds in the fight against breast cancer. The partnership has raised over $1 million to aid in finding a cure.
In 2007, an estimated 178,480 American women will be diagnosed with breast cancer. Funds raised by the Susan G. Komen for the Cure will go towards research, prevention, and treatment.

You can help fight against breast cancer by purchasing a 2007 LEAN CUISINE® insulated designer lunch bag. The bags are on sale now for $9.95 each and $5 from the purchase price of every bag is donated to Komen for the Cure.
