Jobless and Unsure
I went to work today, like any other day. No worries. My plan was well laid out in front of me; what to start, finish, and projects to create timelines for. I sat down out my desk, took out my calendar and began to plan my projects.
Approximately 45 minutes later, I was leaving my office, box in hand. My boss entered my office and before the door closed, he said “We are letting you go.”
WOW! Job. Gone. Just like that.
I have now joined hundreds of thousands in a sea of unemployment and the feeling really SUCKS!
What a day this turned out to be.

Ugh. Sorry to hear that. I went into work one day in January. Did my four hours(part-time) and then was called into the boss’s office and let go. I can’t say I was totally surprised because they had been cutting a lot of things out of their budget. Just knew it was a matter of time before people would get the boot.
