oh yea… it’s monday
So I am slow to get going today. I am behind on everything and not even sure what I need to get caught up on. Work and Mondays don’t mix!
But, today, this Monday, I am just a little pissed with the law. On Friday I found out that my speeding ticket can’t really be taken under advisement in court. So, regardless, I have to take the points and insurance hike - nice huh?
So, since today I am just pissy, I thought I would share with you all some of the great traffic violations that I saw today. Seems like there is always a cop around when I am doing something wrong. WTF? Where are they for everyone else? Oh, that’s right, it’s the beginning of a new month, no need for them to be out, yet.
And, if you are a cop, sorry, just how I feel.
Driving into the office today the guy in front of me was talking on his cell. Normal to see, yes. But are two hands required to talk on the cell? He was “talking” with his other hand. No hands steering the vehicle. Not sure I want to know what was steering! I moved to the other lane and went on my merry way.
Red lights do have a meaning, ya know? They don’t mean - speed faster - they mean stop dumb ass, so that the chick in the red car, that by the way is trying to obey every traffic law - can go when she is allowed.
Lady, you there in the mini-van, buckle your little kids up. You know, the ones jumping all over the place before I follow you to wherever you are going and whip your ass.
Expired tags from two years ago. Hmm… not going to get me pulled over at all!
And of course the speeders. Those that disappear beyond the horizon while you are still puttering along. Yep, those drivers won’t get pulled over for doing at least 20 over.
Hey, at least when I get a ticket, I do it right! I make sure I get pulled over by a state cop, face the toughest judge in the state, and get in front of the state prosecutor. I mean, why waste my time with the city when I can go for the big guys?
TTFN ~

What a bout a lawyer? They should be able to get it reduced, right?
